He is a cat lover and fortunate to have two rescued furballs who agreed years ago to make their forever homes with him.
James enjoys travelling to communities of all sizes in the NWT, meeting with residents and learning ever more about their history and culture.

James is a proud member of the Yellowknife Rotary True North Club, where he is Public Relations director. James has been a Rotarian since 2012, when he joined the Rotary Club of Brandon, MB.
He is also on the Salvation Army's local Community Council and you will see him each year during the Kettle Campaign.
